I had so much fun making this page of our three boys.  What I love about it is how their personalities are captured absolutely perfectly on their faces!

The pictures were taken on a day that they just couldn’t wait for their dad to come home from work… and to get rid of some energy created by loads of excitement I thought I would take them to the park.  They had so much fun!

On the wall at Paper Crazy

We are promoting our girls weekend away… and the ladies at Paper Crazy was very nice and allowed us to advertise there!

The paper I used is from 7Gyspies and the range is “Lille”. Stunning paper and it is just so easy to use! I can’t wait to get my hands on the latest range called “Camden”

So what exactly is crafting?

www.answers.com defines crafting as the skill of making or creating something by hand, suggesting great care or ingenuity.

For us crafting is any process that inspires you to be an artist. We started with scrapbooking, then we practiced painting, did some mosaic work and now we are fully fledged mixed media artists 😉

We must admit though that our first love will always be ❤ scrapbooking ❤

We can’t believe the weekend is over!

At least we got a lot of things done…yesterday we sorted out our workspace {what a job! – understatement of the year ;-)}

Today we visited the venue for our girls weekend… and it is just stunning! The views, the sounds, the huge trees and just everything is perfect!

Riani {and the whole family} went with us to take some photos. We will post the photos once we receive them! I can’t wait, and then you can see for yourself just how special it is!

We must say a big thank you to the men in our lives for always helping us out {painting, looking after the kids, preparing healthy yummy meals… the list goes on and on} and without moaning too much… he he.

Well that is us for the weekend.

What a busy day…

Today has been a very busy day for us… every crafter will know that sorting out your creative space is not a walk in the park!

It took hours of sorting, packing, cleaning and getting rid of the things that we can no longer use.  At the same time it was also very exciting… almost like a treasure hunt!

We will post some pictures of our creative space the moment we are done.  Tomorrow will be another busy day for us – we are going to the venue of our Soul Delicious Girls Weekend to take some pictures… we will post them tomorrow night! {Watch this space}
